Online Purchases

All transactions are subject to Susie Murphy Art's terms and conditions. These conditions shall form the basis of a contract between Susie Murphy Art and the customer. Responsibility for purchased goods safety and accidental damage shall pass to the customer upon safe delivery. I hope that you will love your purchase as much as I enjoyed creating the artwork. In the unfortunate event of any item arriving damaged or not fulfilling your expectations, please read the Refund and Returns Policy.

Images

Images on this website are used for illustrative purposes only. Every image on this website has been carefully balanced to match the original painting and print as closely as possible. However, I cannot guarantee that the picture on your own device is an exact colour match to the original painting or print. This is because of the many colour variations experienced with device screen displays.

Orders/Delivery

I aim to despatch most items within seven to ten working days of your order being placed (ten working days does not include weekends), however, all silk scarves are made to order and dispatched within four to six weeks.. Limited and open edition prints are produced upon request and Susie Murphy Art will contact you asap in the unlikely event of a despatch delay. To ensure that your prints reach you in perfect condition they are carefully wrapped in acid free tissue paper. The prints will come protected by a cardboard postal tube and posted via Royal Mail Special Delivery.

Susie Murphy owns the copyright of all her images. Purchasing an original painting, a giclée print or greetings card does not give you the right to copy or reproduce the image in any way. Unauthorised reproduction of any image, either for personal or commercial use, will be treated as a Copyright Infringement and legal action may be taken. This website is the property of Susie Murphy Art and is protected by United Kingdom and international copyright and database right laws.  All content (text, images, videos, etc) is the copyright of the owner of the website and cannot be used in any way without the owner's written permission. You do not have permission to download any images from this site and use them for any purpose other than to view them on your own computer while browsing the site. If you wish to use an image or reproduce it in printed material, on a website or in any other way, you must request written Copyright Release from the artist.

Refund and Returns Policy

Damaged goods

Susie Murphy Art will replace all damaged goods. However, you must check your goods and email info@susiemurphyart.com within three working days of receipt of a damaged item to be eligible for a replacement or refund. A reply email containing full details of the replacement/refund procedure will be sent. You must keep the damaged goods together with any damaged packaging until you receive instructions on what to do with them from Susie Murphy Art. Failure to do this could result in an invalid claim against our returns policy.

Other Returns

In accordance with the European distance selling directive, Susie Murphy Art will supply you with a contract for each purchase you make on the site. If you are ordering within an EU country, you have the right to withdraw from the contract, within fourteen working days from receipt of the goods, and return the goods without having to give any reason. If you withdraw you will be reimbursed by the same method with which you paid, within thirty days. All returns should be mailed to Susie Murphy Art, 70 East Kilngate Place, Edinburgh, EH17 8UR. Please email info@susiemurphyart.com immediately to inform Susie Murphy Art of a return or to cancel your order.

 

Please note -  To be eligible for a full refund all returned goods must be in 100% re-saleable condition and returned in the original packaging. Susie Murphy Art does not reimburse the outgoing or return shipping charges unless the return is due to a defect in quality. You will be responsible for the postage costs of returning all goods but Susie Murphy Art does not add an administration or repackaging charge.

You can be assured that Susie Murphy Art will never exploit your details in any way and every effort is made to protect the privacy of users and customers. Your personal details are treated as confidential, and personal data will not be disclosed to any other individual or organisation. Susie Murphy Art will only use this information to send you offers or to contact you to resolve an order problem. You may choose to unsubscribe from email marketing at any point by emailing 'unsubscribe' here.

Secure payment

You may choose to pay by credit or debit card, through the checkout with PayPal. When you make a payment, at the payment screen you will enter details on PayPal's payment processing site. All payments are processed securely through PalPal. Susie Murphy Art does not handle, see or store any credit or debit card details/data place online via this website.
